- Usually blue to blue-green.
Goethite
- Found in miarolitic cavities in granite pegmatites with red muddy clay. Jones reports that good crystal clusters are rare or are badly weathered due to their softness. Fragile; lustrous. Mahogany-brown to black color. Blades in radiating groups, or sprays, knobs and balls. Blades to 2 inches have been reported. Stalactites and velvety compact microcrystalline layers.
Goethite after Siderite
- Yellow to yellow-brown microcrystalline layer.
Smoky Quartz
- Often associated with amazonite.
