Pinkham Mountain

General Info

Northeast of Northgate (which is north of Walden) is Pinkham Mountain, a source of fluorite and fluorspar. According to Voynick, the mine properties are closed to collecting and are owned by the Ozark-Mahoning Company.

Minerals

Fluorite - Crystals up to 1 inch have been found in the fluorspar veins, but mammillary, botryoidal and stalactitic forms are more common. Colors are white, purple and green.
