These very sharp lath-shaped crystals of bertrandite (some twinned) would be very nice on their own, but the association with the smoky quartz crystals is much more desirable. This piece is from a small find about five years ago. Bertrandite is a rare beryllium silicate sporadically found at this location. From Mt. Antero in Chaffee County. Measures 2 x 2.8 cm.
