Silver in the East Region Silver in the Front Range Region Silver in the Northwest Region Silver in the South Central Region Silver in the Southwest Region
An old classic combo of silver on purple amethyst crystals from the Creede area. Note: The silver occurs in clusters of crystals that look more like acanthite and so this may be a pseudomorph after acanthite or vice versa. Ex. Julian Cranfill Collection. Measures 8 x 5 x 4 cm.
This is classic silver ore from this location. Solid silver bounded by white barite and a bit of acanthite. The silver appears to be crystallized and not broken off a larger piece. From the Bulldog Mine in Mineral County. Measures 5 x 5 cm.
Silver wire from Creede. 4.5 cm tall.
