Our annual event this year will be held the weekend of the Denver Gem and Mineral Show.
All meteorite enthusiasts are invited!

Food and drinks will be provided by the COMETS! We plan on having BBQ, submarine sandwiches, chips, wine, beer and soft drinks.
Sellers
We have TWO auctions this year! You are strongly encouraged to register items for the Oral Auction early. This year we will have a limit to the number of items that will be allowed in the Oral Auction. (See rules below.) Additional items can be entered into the Silent Auction. The room will open at 5:00pm. Please contact Anne Black to register. Her e-mail is Impactika@aol.com The Silent Auction starts at 6pm and the Oral Auction starts at 8pm. No entrance fees!
Buyers
We have TWO auctions this year! You are invited to come between 6pm and 8pm for check-in, to preview the pieces offered in the Oral Auction, and to bid on silent auction items. The Silent Auction starts at 6pm and the Oral Auction starts at 8pm. You must be present to participate. No entrance fees!
Oral Auction Rules
Standard auction rules apply. Starts at 8pm. The Buyer pays hammer price plus 5%. The Seller receives the hammer price minus 5%. The COMETS use the difference to buy the food and drinks, and cover the other expenses at the Auction. A maximum of 5 items per Seller will be allowed in the Oral Auction. A maximum of 30 items total will be in the Oral Auction. If a Seller wants to sell more than 5 items, the Seller can enter the additional items in the Silent Auction.
Silent Auction Rules
Starts at 6pm and ends at 7:30pm. Stay tuned for the Silent Auction rules, or just show up and ask!
Auction Catalog
As Sellers register items for the Oral Auction, the items will be added to the Auction Catalog. This can be viewed online on Impactika's Auction Catalog page and will be updated regularly until the start of the Auction.
