Arriba Meteorite (L5) |
Arriba was found in 1936 near the town of Arriba in Lincoln County, Colorado. It is an L5 ordinary chondrite and the Meteorical Bulletin lists it as weighing 31.1 kg. The Handbook of Colorado Meteorites says that a total of 7 stones were found (three in 1936 and the rest later on). It says that the last one (a 0.5 kg stone) may be a separate meteorite find, but the Meteorical Bulletin does not distinguish it as such.
