Elbert Meteorite (LL6)

Elbert fell January 11, 1998 in a field near the town of Elbert in Elbert County, Colorado. A fireball was seen and reported in several newspapers. On March 4, 2000 a young boy, Dustin Riffel, was walking with his mother when he found the LL6 ordinary chondrite which weighed 680.5g.
