Russel Gulch meteorite (IIIAB)

Russel Gulch, the first meteorite found in Colorado, was found in 1863 near Central City in Gilpin County, Colorado. It's a medium octahedrite (IIIAB) and weighs 13.15 kg. In the Handbook of Colorado Meteorites, Matt Morgan states that it "exhibits a 'bent' Widmanstatten pattern after etching".
