Trip Report!

Usually we have a good turnout for this trip, but this year there were only 3 of us. Maybe the weather was too hot (it was in the 80's and there isn't any shade to be found) or others had plans closer to home. In any case, it was a successful trip as you will see in the following pages.
The Book Cliffs Nodules in the hills
The Book Cliffs north of Grand Junction, Colorado. In these hills, you can barely see the dark nodules where the famous barite crystals can be found.
