I didn't make it to this trip along with the rest of the group, so I went a couple weeks later. Here are the pictures from my trip.
Signs Rock pile
The digging area is a few hundred yards past these signs. Altitude is around 9600 ft. A rock pile where goethite crystals after pyrite can be found. There are also small fossils here.


Willow Peak Mountains to the southeast
Willow Peak which is just north of the digging area. This peak is at an elevation of 10,021 ft. Mountains to the southeast of the digging area.
