Trip Report!

Usually we have a good turnout for this trip, but this year there were only 3 of us. Maybe the weather was too hot (it was in the 80's and there isn't any shade to be found) or others had plans closer to home. In any case, it was a successful trip as you will see in the following pages.
Getting ready to hike Sifting thru the dirt
We just arrived and are getting ready for the half-mile hike to the claim. Someone found some kimberlite at this location, so a few people got out their screens to sift through the dirt for diamonds.
