Unfortunately, I missed most of the people on this trip because I couldn't make it until Sunday. At first I didn't see anyone, although there were a few vehicles parked in the area where we were supposed to meet.
Quartz seam Closeup of the seam
This is a quartz and tourmaline seam within granite. I found it while looking for our club members. A closeup picture of the seam showing some tourmaline.


Paul Nikki
Paul and his family found me as they too were looking for others. Here is Paul taking a whack at the seam. That's Nikki. She was supervising at the time.
