Adams County meteorite (H5)

Adams County is an oxidized H5 ordinary chondrite. "Colorado's first stony meteorite find, weighing 5.7 kg (12.5 lb), was found in a field in 1928 and brought to the Colorado School of Mines for identification. Harvey Nininger confirmed it and published an article in 1931 describing its unusual brecciated (fragmented) structure." - Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum
