Akron 1940 meteorite (H6)

Akron (1940) was found in 1940 near Akron, Washington County, Colorado. It is an H6 ordinary chondrite and the original mass weighed approximately 1050 g, according to the Meteoritical Bulletin. But the Handbook of Colorado Meteorites lists it as between 4 and 7 kg and "only 407 g were preserved". Another mass of 0.64 kg was found in 1954, according to the Meteoritical Bulletin, but that may be a separate find according to the Handbook of Colorado Meteorites.
